Joint Solutions to Feature New IoT Data Services for the AEC and Real Estate Sectors
Cityzenith announced today that it has formed new partnerships with Current—Powered by GE, Huawei, and Microsoft CityNext to provide the company’s AEC and Real Estate sector users access to a new world of real-time IoT sensor data services in cities, ranging from dynamic air quality data to traffic, noise, and pedestrian footfall data.
Leveraging these new strategic partnerships, Cityzenith’s 5D Smart WorldTM will expand its content service to provide subscribers access to mission-critical, real-time data from IoT sensor API(s) provided by GE and Huawei—visualizable, searchable, and analyzable inside the 5D Smart WorldTM environment—as a premium service.
Cityzenith’s award-winning 5D Smart World™ data platform is a web-based, Software-as-a-Service solution empowering users with the unprecedented ability to access and analyze hundreds of data sets in cities and buildings anywhere in the world via an interactive 3D virtual model of a city. Users drag and drop their 3D, BIM, and other project data into 3D city models rich with public, IoT, and Social Media data to perform advanced design, planning, and operational analysis functions for their building, campus, and city-scale projects from design through operations.
Cityzenith CEO Michael Jansen comments: “Today’s building industry practitioners invest considerable amounts of time and money trying to source and connect to disparate static data sets from a variety of public and private data services to serve their needs, each of which they identify and manage individually. Some of the data sourced in their process is many years old and practically obsolete. Real-time sensor data feeds offered by Current—Powered by GE, Huawei, and Microsoft that can be easily incorporated into our users’ workflow via 5D Smart World™ will have a compelling and disruptive impact on how AEC and Real Estate professionals assess, plan, design, build, and operate buildings, over their entire lifecycle.”
Cityzenith will be featured in the Microsoft Pavilion at the Smart City Expo World Congress on November 15th -17th in Barcelona. Michael Jansen will also be giving a talk at the Huawei Pavilion at the same event on November 15th at 11:30am, entitled “Designing Smarter Cities Using Big Data”.
