John Lau is the managing director of Firefly Lighting Design with offices based in London and Hong Kong. Having graduated in Design Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London, John joined a lighting consultancy designing bespoke lighting products. He soon found himself designing lighting schemes as well as the light fittings for projects and decided to form Firefly with Peter Veale.
